The world’s first electric Lamborghini will be extremely powerful

The legendary car brand stands before a huge milestone: after designing only gasoline-powered vehicles for half a century, the king of Italian sports cars has introduced its first electrically rechargeable vehicle.

Named the Lamborghini Revuelto, the plug-in hybrid still features the well-known V12 gasoline engine, as well as three additional electric motors.

By combining the two systems – hence the imaginative name, which means mixed or combined – the vehicle can produce a total of 1001 horsepower according to the manufacturer.

The price has not yet been announced. As promised, the Revuelto will be equally suitable for both thundering and punchy, as well as smooth and quiet driving experiences, as it will offer a menu of 13 different driving modes for the driver to choose from.

The front-wheel drive, low-speed cruising will be completely electric, while high-performance track driving will use the power of both the V12 engine and electric motors – according to CNN.

The car manufacturer, founded in 1963 in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy and still headquartered there, is not resting on its laurels: everything in this car is new, including the gasoline engine, which was specifically developed for this new car, according to Lamborghini’s statement.
